Record-Keeping Requirment for UDOC Facilities

In accordance with Section 11(1)(b) of the Chemical Weapons (Convention) Ordinance, a facility which is required to notify the Director-General of Trade and Industry the amount of Unscheduled Discrete Organic Chemicals (UDOCs) produced in the facility during a particular year should keep records for that particular year in relation to the facility for not less than 3 years.  An operator who fails to comply with the record-keeping requirements commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine at $100,000 and to imprisonment for 1 year.
