Record-Keeping Requirements for Permit Holders

In accordance with Section 12(2)(b) of the Chemical Weapons (Convention) Ordinance, Cap. 578, an operator of a facility granted with a permit to operate the facility during a particular year ("permit holder"), shall keep records in relation to the facility, plants and the chemicals for not less than 3 years after the particular year. An operator who fails to comply with the record-keeping requirements commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine at $100,000 and to imprisonment for 1 year.
